We had a two pound porterhouse. My Love cooked in a cast iron skillet. He served with salt crusted baked potatoes and sautéed onions, cauliflower, and green beans. To drink I had Cabernet and some seltzer water. It was so delicious. It felt so fun and decadent to eat this big huge gorgeous hunk of meat on a Tuesday, you know? We were not celebrating anything. We didn't have friends over. It was just a normal and relaxing Tuesday with the addition of a freaking ridiculous piece of meat. We even let the dog in on the action. We may torture him with hugging him too much or crushing him with love (that's just me actually, the man of the house has more restraint) but we also give him treats like a brontosaurus sized bone.
